FortiGate products running FortiOS 3.0 MR7 and FortiOS 4.0 MR3 conform to IPv6 Ready Logo Phase 2 Core test specifications (as a router product).  IPv6 readiness provides confidence in environments running IPv6 networks or IPv4 networks being transitioned to the new protocol.

FortiMail Earns 11th Consecutive Virus Bulletin Anti-Spam Award

The FortiMail messaging security appliance has been awarded its 11th Virus Bulletin certification in the VBSpam Awards. Virus Bulletin staff tested FortiMail along with 18 other antispam products from 13 different countries for spam catch rates and false positive rates. According to the report, FortiMail both increased its spam catch rate slightly and eliminated false positives. The appliance saw its final score improve for the third time in a row and easily won its 11th VBSpam award.
